Factoring Quadratic Equations: A Beginner-Friendly Approach

In this video, I have explained quadratic equations and how to solve them step by step. The standard form of a quadratic equation is: ax² + bx + c = 0, Where: a, b, and c are constants and a ≠ 0.

The most common method for solving quadratic equations is factoring, and here is how it works:

  • Look for two numbers that multiply to give the product a*c (the coefficient of x2 and the constant term) and add up to give b (the coefficient of x).
    • You can list all the factors of the product a*c to determine those numbers.
  • Use those numbers to rewrite the equation and solve for x, as I have demonstrated in the video.

I have included several examples in the video to make this process as easy as possible for beginners. To understand the concept fully, watch the complete video.
